Every agent in America is telling you spring is the best time to sell. I’m not ready to go that far yet.
Here’s what I can tell you: I’ve seen more multiple offer situations in the last few weeks than I expected. Well-priced homes are selling, and buyers who have been on the sidelines are starting to show up. That’s a real signal, not a talking point. But rates are still above 6%, affordability hasn’t improved much, and one good month doesn’t make a trend. Sellers winning right now aren’t winning because it’s spring. They’re winning because they priced correctly from day one.
The market rewards honesty. If your home is priced right, this spring could be very good for you. If it isn’t, the season won’t save you.
